Nice tot aint it!

i'm one of the thousands of followers of BIG B's blog! today, when i saw his entry,he for past few days is writing abt the mumbai massacre and stuff related to it..
this was one of the comments he recieved ....

Though Indians have paid a big cost….because sometimes the deal turns out to be costly….but look at the other side it, we should be thankful to the coward terrorists………who attacked Mumbai…..they did something unknowingly…..for sure they would have never imagined…They have done what our politicians could never do during last 61 years…..The have brought all Indians together…….!!

worth a tot !

yet another tragic date with 26th......

Be it 2001 Jan 26th , when an earthquake rocked India with its epicentre at BHUJ, or be it the 2004 26th DEC Tsunami which devastated the coastal region of India and now, 26th of NOV 2008 has shocked us and the mixed emotions grief, anguish , anger, scare, insecurity, distrust and wat not!

only change this time is tat this is but not natural disaster but a dasterdly act of insane, inhuman nature which wants to spread terror into the minds of the ppl of the world! they have only this as their goal.... and 'm affraid they have succeeded this time.... DAMN!

i'm cricket match! part 2

well, i wholly dearly wanted to be the part of the crowd today at KSCA to see few of my fav sportsmen do their stuff on the field!

we(me and my 2 cousins) tried a lot to get the tickets... but we gt to kno that the tickets which on sale were sold out 3 days prior to the match and the news reports which stated abt LAthi Charge on the fans who went to buy tickets made us not to even attempt for going after them !

we tried thru other sources to get passes... we tried a lot...

and u kno wat... we got the passes!!

we were sooo happy with the tot that we would be der when the fled lights would be turned on and the stadium is lit by the artificial lights... i remembered those scenes from my past experience ind v sa , it was a sight to watch i tell u!

but our (well atleast mine) happiness turned to anguish once we heard that there were only 2 passes available and we were 3!

at first , i felt lil disapointed that all 3 of us couldn make it.. some body had to stay back! :(

i tot v'll put a chit, whose name comes of the 3 , 2 shall go to the match..

but my bros hinted that they'll go at any cost...

and besides that i'd already seen the sight once b4...

i jus tot...

if i were father of 3 sons... how i would have solved this issue --

1st son has already seen it b4.. while othr 2 had been home...
and now we've only 2 passes!

i'd ask the 1st son to wait for the next time and let the other two go and experience the stadium...

then i realized .... i now should do wat that 1st son is supposed to do!

so i said.. fine guys u go ahead and enjoy the occasion... i've seen it once.. its ur chance now... :)

i felt that giving up of contention for the tickets gave me more more satisfaction than d feeling of being in the 50K crowd!

i think i did the right thing... do u agree?
