Worth a Fall

This year's Raksha Bandhan was a special occasion for me as i had gifted my sister bicycle from my own pocket. It was astonishingly satisfying and i felt good abt myself...

til abt half a week back, Chaitra my sister was still on one foot while on bicycle... and all of a sudden a few days back, she had none of her 2 small feet on ground! Yes. She had learnt to cycle... :)
While she was learning she fell many times.. few times in the same place... yet she stood up and tried her best to learn... and today she has learnt...
All i can say is Its worth the fall.... :)

Funny Incident in College

I was online, googling and was totally engrossed in it along with chatting with my friend who was sitting besides me... and suddenly.. i heard a cry for help from behind...followed by huge burst of laughter !!!It was in my College, Computer Networks Lab !!

And the cause of the cry from behind was a small 3.5 inch long RAT !!! hehehe :D
Yes!! It was a rat...

As i turned back, the poor rat which had got into the last row of the lab was puzzled by us the people in its home :D so it had to take drastic measures to escape from people who were actually scared of it... lol

its always strange that smallest of things give us biggest of trouble...

Most of my classmates were jumping around their seats when the rat headed towards them... few MEN came fwd to SOLVE the situation.. but alas, their bravery was short lived as the rat came near them, they jumped with all the fear in the world !!

And then the rat was getting tired.. but it could nt stop, it had to try to escape.. and we had to get rid of it...
all in all it was a catch 22 situation....

ther was a lot of chaos in the lab for those 10 minutes... while the people who were near the rat were scared, others enjoyed the weakness of their peers... each taking turns...

While all this was going on , i had returned back to my companion lovely old google :) but... somethng drived me to join the fun and enjoy the moment...

so i set out to do somethng...i didn know wat to do initially... bt i realised only thng whch i can do is to CATCH the RAT :) yes... i really wanted to catch the rat and put it in a safe place...

so i took the last page of my only note book i had brought to class, and went in search for the little mice..
within 2-3 minutes... i was able to corner it and then bring it out in open and i put my paper over it and carefully caught it by the tail .... :) then friends took few snaps of me slong with the rat :) :)

i put it out of lab in a safe place away...
Mouse happy and we also happy :) :)

When i came back into the lab... i was cheered by a round of applause .. made me feel gud...
:) Thanks to the rat, i found a reason to smile.....

Small Glimpse of Joy

As is my addictive habit these days...i was editing my resume and for once i tot it was kind of ok and jus gt a feeling y nt jus upload on scribd where i ve hosted few of my docs.... so i uploded on 15th oct night and went to bed...

16th was a normal busy day for me, i went to coll, attended class, had a small meet with project mates and while coming back home around 430 pm or so, stopped to ve a chat wit few college mates after few mins when i chked my cell for msgs (i keep mob in silent and non vibrator mode)i saw a missed call from a new number..

anxious to kno who had called me i called back to the same number... to my pleasant surprise it was a company's HR person wanting to recruit me as a full time web developer/programmer !!

it took me few seconds to sink in.. and i actually asked him to repeat to make sure wat i was hearing was rite...

He also told me tat he got my resume from where i had posted my resume the previos nite!! from scribd ..... :)
he had overlooked a key point in the resume whch made me un eligeble for presntly taking up a full time job..and tat obviously was i m still studyin :D

i told him tat i m still a student ...and he replied me to contact him aftr my course :) { i ve a back up if i don get placed anywher lol :P }

for a brief few seconds i felt happy when i found out frm him tat i m worthy of a job :) it still puts a small involuntry smile on my face :)

Jumbo Back on the Road!!!

Hey hey hey... no no.. m not talking anything related to the man who has scalped 619 test cricket wickets or m not talkin about any tusker elephant whch escaped from its home cos its invaded by us humans and moved in to public places to cause destruction on the way..... m nt refering to either of them ......

What i m refering is ...my long cherished , once a partner of my life for a period of time, my transport, my hercules bi-cycle!!!!

i had got it a while back when i jus passed out of my 7th grade... it was april 12th 2001 if i remember my diary correctly... it was one of the days of my life whch i always dreamed off as a boy before tat day.... i always wanted to ride on a bi-cycle... race with friends, wheel the front tier, ride with single hand then slowly without any hand on the bar! it was passion ... and very nearly an obsession!!

i used jumbo extencieely since then and ve had wonderful memories of it... both sweet and painful... yes like all i ve had my falls... bt the gud thng is , i used to always rise up and do wat i do... ride my jumbo ..... :)

i vividly remember atleast 2 or 3 of my falls whch seem like it has jus happend yesterday! boy i was lucky to escape from it in a single piece!!whew

i used jumbo tilll i finished my pre university college... i used to travel to coll whch is about a kilometer's distance frm my place on jumbo... but after tat somehow it had got shelfed for 2-3 years... every day i looked at my back yard or saw the keys of my jumbo, i used to feel i ve let down my friend and was havin in some corner of my heart tat i ve nt done justice to my frnd.. my once partner of life....

So, i decided rescently tat i shud bring back jumbo on the road whr it belongs! i shud keep it alive as it kept me alive back in the early years of its life...

I tot its my duty to bring back JUMBO to life ... so i took it out and got it well serviced and i ride on my frnd once again.. and the amount of joy tat i felt is enormous and i m sure i cant express wat i ve felt in plain words.... i thnk JUMBO would feel the same thng....

for some reason i ve let u down till nnow, jumbo.. but i wont repeat my mistake again :)

Good to ve u back, jumbo :)

wats so spl abt him tat he wants to ve a site for himself?
wat a fool! he has actually paid for webspace!
waste of effort...who is gona log on to his website anyway?

i felt most of the times very honoured that i m gettin a feedback from my beloved ones....
it was a gr8 emotional booster for me after i heard each time that i d done a gr8 job..... though on back of my mind , i do kno i ve yet to complete the website! i m still building it... need to add lot more STUFF into it,actually..
i was brought back to earth also by few close ones , who asked me to re-engineer the website , put more brighter colors , put some flashy stuff etc...
well i do agree to a certain extent... i thnk them to ve been frank !! :)

all in all its been a gr8 experience.. and its still earcly days for my website... gt still lot of plans to improve upon it and build it ,and sustain it to lay foundation to a successful future{god willing}

Jaago Bharat

Democracy will win only when there is 100% Voter's attendance.

Can this be a peoples mandate?

ours is the biggest democracy on the face of mother earth.... and tdy the latest 5year Lok Sabha Election results which are the very heart of the democracy is out....

a party has been elected and it only has very lil job to do gathering a handful of seats by of-course DEALS wit the others or the 3rd front.. seems like an easy task and more or less our prime minister till the next assembly polls is decided...

the leaders of the winning party proclaimed that this is peoples decision and they have voted for them for a list of reasons..... fair enuf, anyone aftr winning would ve done d same thing.....

but i wonder....... the total average voting percentage throught the country is not even 50% !!!!

in this context..... can this mandate be a clear indication of the verdict of the whole nation???

these few tots cme to my mind as i try to dissolve the news of the new govt being RE-FORMED!

Bad Officials are elected by good citizens who do not Vote

Those who stay away from the election think that one vote will do no good.'Tis but one step more to think one vote will do no harm

Ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all

I Vote no One !!

the next question which comes to my mind when i want to vote but m not satisfied by the candidates... i cant take up the responsibility of standing in an election myself due to my personal commitments and also i don thnk m good enuf person to represent my constituency, the question which definitely comes to my mind is wheathr i can cast a negative vote?

i mean to say tat i don support any candidate who is standing for elections... and if the no. of negative votes r more than the margin of victory while counting , a re poll is conducted in that constituency!

i guess we all have got those fake 49-O emails in our inbox... nw in this elections its confirmed tat such things have not been implimented still

all u can do it register ur name and say tat u don wanna vote anyone, as of now it is nt considered to be negative vote... and more over there will be no re-poll

click here for furthr info about 49-O

we must urge the election commission to implement this idea of negative vote at least from next assembly election.
a separate option on the e-ballot stating " None of the Above !"

this cud lead to better voter turn outs .. and it wud furthr empower the strength of citizen and his right to vote!

Shame on U Mumbaikars!!

an event occurred in nov last year in mumbai which left d entier world stunned and take notice of it helplessly and with shock! the city was attacked !!

and who were blamed for it??the politicians!!! and the " Chalta hai ! " attitude of public as a whole.....we saw the sacking of major leaders of the mumbai legislature as well as in d center .

as i remember thr was a huge rally on dec 3rd ,exactly 1 week aftr the unfortunate incident, a show of strength, a show of solidarity..... i had in myself the greatest hope tat this wud change the very system and the way the politicians see the citizens of india and may it force them to find a betr way of governing!!

i saw interesting placards being used it those rallies... like these i ve put up here....

there was anothr rally in mumbai, whr thousands of ppl gathred to hold hand in hand and cover the entier city with a human chain.....

for me these were the signs of hope, signs of a nation which knos that it is not ready to be governed by some dummies, it wants to select n elect their leaders and the leaders are accountable.....

but tdy, 30th of april 2009 , my heart is filled with deep sadness and a strange feeling of helplessness anger and hatred! for those very ppl who came out of their home tat day who wantd a change in india, dint turn up to vote tdy!!!

the news reports say the voter attendance has dipped from previous polls of 2k4 and is hardly 50 % this time.

Shame on u mumbaikars shame on u !!!

u only talk bt whn it come to doing , u've failed urself, u have failed the nation and u ve faild all those ppl who died on nov last year , u failed the martrys major sandeep and the others, u faild the brave constable who even aftr his duty hours, took the bullets of the ak 47 of kasab and helpd his fellow policeman to capture him.......

my dear mumbaikar , u ve faild me!!!

IPL -- A League led by a Frantic ?? Part 2

It is actually a matter of shame for me to write this blog entry doubting my country's ability to safe guard our guests and the general public!

The recent mumbai incident which has encrypted in itself a wound which we seldom can recover from , but praise the gr8 work of our army men who could bail us out from possibly even more tyranny!!

The attack on the Sri Lankan players in the heart of the neighboring country, is but just another shocking example of the level of the madness tat the terrorists could envict on anyone, anywhr, anytime!!

We've seen so many other illustrations where the attacks happen mostly when they r least expected!! It boils me , to having to think about safety of my family when they leave for their work places in the morning, i hope that we'll have a nice dinner tat night... more specifically, hoping tat they r still alive at end of the day!! It boils me.......

Ours is a nation of a Billion and more!! and its a matter of a PLAIN fact tat the govt cant police each and evry person residing in our nation, this far... they cant even stop so called "refugees" comming from bangladesh to enter our nation illegally and meddling wit our system !! this apart..

The point which i want to make here is there are bound to be a lot of loopholes in the system , which are but result of the huge mass of our nation!!

To top it all, we are celebrating our democracy next month, thru the General Elections !! and not that we need to be told, we 've already recieved open threats to the nation by the jihadi elements tat they wud disrupt elections ! today, i heard inteligence reports tat Bangalore's Vidhan Soudha and High Courts are under the terrorist's fanatic eyes !! Even God doesnt know wat evil they can cause!!

This is the brief and grim Situation of the Country's Sad Security is concerned!! {we are trying a person in court who took his AK-47 and shoot our brothers and sisters.... while the legislative is working on new laws where we can try a terrorist and finding an alternative to POTA or watevr... while these ppl have taken oath to submit their life in name of jihad! We 've to understand that we r dealing wit suicide killers and to my knowledge they r least bothered about their life , .... anyways... }

And while all this , We've Mr Lalit Modi , architect of IPL who comes into the picture .........

To be continued in next entry....

IPL -- A League led by a Frantic ?? Part 1

We all Know hw successful was the 1st Season of the Celebrated IPL- Indian Premier League was..... In Fact i watched most of the matches and tat too full matches, it being T20 was more than an incentive to sit in front of d Idiot box for d ful quota of lil more than half an hour over 2 hours of play with d world's best cricketers comming on the same platform and perforn, as it was the first time, i actually enjoyed it more than the world cup itself !!

It was a Great Success, despite the fact tat there were a few scars here and there, handfull of rifts, lil Controvercies not to mention Malya's firing of Charu Sharma , Bhajji Slapping Sree - he crying in front of the world, and Preety going to console him! , Sharukh Not allowed into stands for which he only sponsered and also ppl found doping which is was obvious black spot of the Whole event. Wowww.... It had evrything!

The Quality of Cricket Played was anothr high point of the IPL , all the 3 departments of the game were very well served by the players.. And i thoroughly enjoyed it !

All in All IPL was a gr8 hit and all couldn wait for the next season of IPL would return back to the small screen and ppl waiting to get into stands to see Ricky Pointing and Ishanth Sharma Play for d Same Team or Sehwag Yuvraj taking on Flintoff again while they r not playing in their Country Colours.... It would be a sight to watch !!!

But, Things have changed now.............. Quite dramatically !!

Its not the same situation as last time, its a Big responsibility on part of nation and the security forces , above all ,IPL as an institution to assure the Safe being of the Stake holders of the League, especially the Players and Public who come to watch the matches!!

To be continued in next entry....

Paradox

Mostly...World behaves Like a Mirror, If u Smile at it , it'll smile back at u.. If u make a weird face, it'll do the same! But the paradox is who will do the thing first? U r the WORLD?? 'm nt able to understand.

BandiPur --> MuLeHoLe "Tiger Incident"

Aaaaahhhhhhh, with wat expectations we(me sandy n setu) had taken a kerala bus (which had an innovative alternative to cover the windows with some stuff made of banboo) to the starting point of our actual part of freek wild adventure of Bandipur and nearby places.

We infact felt we r in the right place very early in our journey, on the way to Mulehole Wild Life Reserve, as we were stopped by a passing by modest elephant family of 3 or more , 2 of which (we spotted) were of avg size and the other reasonably big! and we had to halt the bus till we got a gate pass by the hosts of the area,The Elephants-- At this point we were really exited and were playing wit our own imaginations as to wat wud be in store for us in the grand much celebrated place of Mulehole, just 20 odd kms frm Gundlupete(near Mysore)

Setu's Father, Giridhar Uncle, had a good relation wit the Forest Ranger and he hence Forest Rander had agreed to take us 3 to a grand Forest Safari in the open wild. An adventure we 3 wud never hessitate to accept for sure!!

the pic shows the Official Forest Jeep which took us, later for a LONG "Ride" into the Deep forests of Mulehole. And before it took us, we were almost worshipping the jeep :D as we tot it was our instrument for adventure ... lol infact it was!!

A lil while later , the un imaginable happend, that which tuk us by anguish for the first moment, and exitement by the 2nd and it stayed tat way for a good half an hour!!

A Lorry Driver when stopped at the checkpoint, reported tat there was a Tiger Lying by the side of the road a few kms away frm the checkpost, supposedly Dead!

This was BIG news for the Forest GAurds, as they could ill afford death of the tiger as ofcourse, there are very few, they wanted to confirm the report and we all set off on wat we tot as an epic adventure to find the tiger, we 3 and a bunch of Forest gaurds, along wit the RAnger wit walky talkies being used extencively, all to find the reason they are employed for!

A km passed by another and another, but there was no sign of the Tiger! Different theories started creeping up,
Was it a Hoax CAll?(to divert the GAurds from not checking the Lorry)
Did the Lorry Driver Mistake Somethisng Else for a Tiger?
Was the Tiger "DEad" or was it jus lying on the ground for taking some shelter?
Did it die and some other animal took it away ?

as it turned out, we searched n searched and there was absolutely no clue of the Tiger,

as the last option wasnt much probable, Forest GAurds were some what happy that they din have a dead Tiger to deal with, for they'd have to deal with the criticism and had to formulate an explanation to higher authorities... but for us, it was kind of a dissapointment in not seeing the Tiger itself, dead or alive!! i guess we were so exited to SEE a Tiger in the wild, tat we din care wheather it wud be alive or dead.... it took us some moments to sink in our feelings as we were too much expecting a visual of the tiger and get some pics of it...

after a while better senses prevaled and we were happy for the fact that Tiger had not died!

we came to assume that d 3rd possibility had occured and rubbished the 1st n 4th and imagined 2nd wud be a remote chance tat cud have happened .

Slumdog Debate

at first when i saw d movie while all d hype was surrounding it, tot it has a worth while story to tell, so i began to watch, i was happy tat i gt a GOOD print to watch(b4 i watch d movie, i chk for d print :D ) then as the movie progressed , the movie goes on portraying , few may say deliberately ! abt the stuff a slum guy in mumbai faces.... frm his mom being hit by an angry mob driven by religious bias ... to children being driven in2 begging and prostitute hood....

i began to wonder wat effect it mite have on a young kid frm mumbai who mite watch this movie ... at first i couldn form a firm anti opinion abt it, prob cos i was over whelmed by the recognition it gt...but after sometime, be began to analyse what it means for the nation, i've had 2nd tots.

for a person like me , i'd anytime rate Legend Of Bhagat Singh or more rescently A Wednesday more than this movie , as i somehow feel it will make us more harm than good!

i can relate this slumdog story with "Blood Diamond" whr though the theme of the story is diff , it is similar in away that it portrays poverty and wat the directors think as seemingly hopeless situations , there it illegal diamond trade at cost of civilian lives.. here, not so severe but jus a hopeless catch 22 situation wit currupt police politics and society's image of slums... but it is dangerous to spread this view to the world abt this, i say thus as a patriot and not as a cinematic person .

and the director , speaking to a news channel when asked if he had shown the worst situations like a singing beggar's eyes being taken off by a quack or abt the shit holes deleberately to demean slums, he said tat he wanted to portray abt the extremes of this gr8 city, mumbai... to be frank, i was nt very much satisfied by his answer , as i couldn see any 2nd extreme in the film, i may be wrong though.. the film wanted to showcase mumbai as a slumcity , which though i cant deny at this movement, cant bear to think that this wil do us more harm than good! :(

with all due respect to film makers of Blood Diamond and Slumdog , both are extreamly good films cinematicaly ... one has bagged gold in some category, and other on its way, jus waiting for the day... but the ppl of that region, in heart would probably not be very comfortable to see it...

it is the American's (Oscar givin ppl ) who'll enjoy and film, but the regional ppl who shud/will feel the pain frm inside..

26th January 2009

A proud moment for me , and the nation as a whole! India celebrates her 60th Republic day . 1950, on the very day, India declared complete sovereignty and it meant more to us than just getting independence, it meant we were governing ourselves, a President was elected and hence the marvelous journey of the worlds largest democracy started and every year on this day, we the proud citizens of the nation of a Billion and more, forget our differences, unite and hail our Nation and remember those, the fore fathers of the Country, who gave their yesterday for purpose of our today!

This day, we forget all the failures of democracy, we've witnessed thru our eyes and think not of the corrupt Politicians who trade their portfolio for exchange of Rupees. We forget about those leaders who could not stand up to expectations and shamefully came back after every 5 years to beg for vote and would never show up for the next 5! We forget the Great Political mistakes, foreign policy or the steps taken for eradication of illiteracy and poverty . We forget about all those good for nothing criminals who are waiting to get out of the bars thru a bail plea and are sketching to stand in the next election. We forget about the regional and religious bias and all the reasons behind it .We forget about many things which make us feel ashamed if it were not 26th of jan or 15th of aug and come together as one nation , one unit which does not repent on the past mistakes but celebrates the success in grandeur and solace .. parading the 3 fronts of defense, The Army , The Navy ,The Air Force . We leave no leaf unturned for us to feel proud about ourselves, our great nation!

But , India in the recent past has been under attack by foreign forces , and the matter of greater concern is the mode of attacking and more importantly the frequency of it!!

Our country, a Super Power in the making , is too much to bear for few of our neighboring countries, so they are apparently waging a proxy war on our country to divert the attention of the govt and reduce the growth rate of India. One can imagine the level of desperateness, by seeing the strikes on Bangalore ,Tata Institute and more recently , and more seriously , Mumbai, The Financial Capital

I came across news yesterday, that 2 Terrorists were killed in an encounter , near Noida . They were traveling towards New Delhi , and heavy ammunition like 2 Ak 47 , 1Kg of Rdx , Hand ful of grenades and detonators were recovered...I came to know that it was a joint operation of ATS and Noida Police .. 3Cheers to them!!!.... But , I cant stop to think that there is more to it than what meets the eye , were these 2 Terrorists a part of a bigger team ? were more than these 2 ppl traveling towards our Country's capital? is there a chance of an attack tom also?

I believe , thousands of police and army men like the NSG , etc are on standby and in full alert for any kind of mischief played by insane terrorists, having said this , we got to be pro active and not spare even a shadow of doubt and make sure that Country is not embarrassed at least on this day ! i say this with a great sense of insecurity to be frank , as it seems improbable to seal off all the loopholes we have created ourselves , and of course, i wont be over optimistic as we are a nation of enormous land mass! but still have faith in Country's defense to counter attack.

Traditionally, 26th has been a Favorite day for all the terrorists to vage an attack , and this 26th we have to extra bit care ful to make sure that we dont have to look down upon ourselves atleast today, the day we celebrate our Democracy!!

Wishing you a Great Republic Day ,
Hoping to see a better Future

Gospel Of Strength - The Omnipotent Soul!

As soon as you say,"I'm a little mortal being," you are saying something which is not true you are giving the lie to yourselves, you are hypnotising yourselves into something vile and weak and wretched.

The Greatest sin is to think yourself weak.

To call another a sinner is the worst thing you can do.

Come up ,O Lions, and shake off the delusion that you are sheep;you are souls immortal, spirits free, blest and eternal;you are not matter, you are not bodies;matter is your servant ,not you the servant of matter.

"Children of immortal bliss" -- what a sweet, what a hopeful name! Allow me to call you brethren, by that sweet name -- heirs of immortal bliss... You are the children of God, the sharers of immortal bliss ,holy and perfect beings. You divinities on earth -- sinners! It is a sin to call a man so;It is standing libel on Human Nature.

The more I live, the more I become convinced everyday that every human being is divine. In no man or woman , however vile, does that divinity die.

Say not man is a sinner.Tell him that he is a God.

Silly fools tell you that you are sinners, and you sit down in a corner and weep.It is foolishness,wickedness,down-right rascality to say that you are sinners! You are all God.

The greatest error, says the Vedanta, is to say that you are weak, that you are a sinner, a miserable creature, and that you have no power and you cannot do this and that.Everytime you think in that way, you as it were, rivet one more link in the chain that binds you down, you add one more layer of hypnoticism into your own soul. Therefore , whosoever thinks he is weak is wrong, whosoever thinks he is impure is wrong, and is throwing a bad thought into the world.

If you , my sons, can proclaim this message to the world - "klaibhyam maa sma gamah partha . Nai tat tvam upapadyate " (Yield not to unmanliness, O son of Pritha(Arjuna);it does not befit thee) -- then all this disease ,grief, sin and sorrow will vanish off from the face of the earth in three days.

Gospel Of Strength - Stop Becoming Weak !

Strength ,strength,it is what we want so much in life, for what we call sin and sorrow have all one cause, and that is our weakness. With Weakness comes ignorance, and with ignorance come misery.

Never think there is anything impossible for the soul.It is the greatest heresy to think so.If there is sin, this is the only sin-to say that you are weak.

All weakness , all bondage is imagination... Do not Weaken!.. Stand up and be strong! That is all the religion I know.

This is the great fact:strength is life, weakness is death.Strength is felicity, life eternal, immortal;weakness is constant strain and misery;weakness is death.

What we want is strength , so believe in yourselves...Make your nerves strong. What we want is muscles of iron and nerves of steel. We have wept long enough. No more weeping, but stand on your own feet and be Men.

One of the Strongest Feelings...

Attachment to something/someone is a feeling which is not paralleled by any other feeling which 1 can possibly get. No matter how much we try to escape from it, once into the loop of bondage, it is really difficult to come out of it.

'm finding it out almost every day now.... Bondage was one thing, i tot i shud avoid at all times, cos it leads to weakness on the long run.. and i din want to be weak, i wanted to be strong, so strong that i'd be like a water droplet on lotus leaf which is in contact with water, shines on it , but, is never attached to the leaf . what a life the water droplet leads, sometimes i envy that!

but inherantly, bondage has certain qualities, such as "MAYA" which makes it desireble , this fact we all shall accept without any room for a countering ...
we've seen from time ,immemorial tat MAYA , has disrupted even that penance of the greatest of the sages!! this is a very disturbing thing to kno , if u ask me... cos for a start, i'm trying to free myself frm bondage, as much as possible , at as small steps as possible.. but every day , its getting tougher and tougher..and i sometimes begin to doubt wheather is it not wrong to not have bondage?but i try to remind myself that, this doubt is nothing other than the MAYA !!

But, my friends.. with due respect to Bondfree life, i think we need to analyse wheather attachment or at outset, a genuine concern to a particular entity/person is called for or should be rejected ! should we weigh each situation we face in d same category? shud we use the same prejudice for all the stuff ?

for illustration , lets take an example .... If i'm very attached to a particular msg in my inbox , and by mistake i delete it... for atleast 2 days, i wont feel alrite and with false hope scan inbox twise each time wheather the msg has re appeared or not! lol

is this called for? ideally no!!

suppose, somebody abuses someone close to u, it could be anyone, ur friend relative anyone... u'll not able to bear the fact that someone jus spoke low of the person u love, u respect..... u feel like slapping that person, if not that u'll do as much as is diplomaticaly possible to protest !

is this right? ofcourse, would be majority's answer.. while a minority maintains to say that it woudnt matter much as it would not actually mean that ur loved one's are watever that the layman has jus spoken ... so even if u r close to a person, u shud not be shaken by someone criticising him... but the immediate counter will be , wat if the criticism is not called for and is intentional? then, the speakers will be short of answers... rite?

so, we gt to agree that sometimes, we gt to analyse wat is the situation and then think of the level of bondage we gt to display.... i guess!

next, we shall take a more serious situation.... wat if u go to a foreign country, a layman there is burning ur country's flag!

my god!! i cant imagine wat i'd have done....
what is this but a prime, very strong sence of Bondage !! and one which all appreciate ! one all shud have!

so , bondage is actually not a word which has same meaning in every case whr we interpret it...

it is only upto the prejudice of the person, as to the attachment is neccessary or could it be avoided.....

it is upto the subject and wat he stands to think at that moment and purely his decision.

Thank God

its always a heart warming sight, to see a sachin or a pankaj or anyone for tat matter , when they perform well,or may be reached a milesstone, they raise their head with all the gratitude there is, with all the humbleness, they bow down to almighty god, and thank him for helping himself to achive wat he has on tat day, thru hard work and struggling.

we have seen dramatic scenes of mhmd yusuf doing namaz in d middle of the ground aftr scoring 10 centuries in a calender year, or the politicians performing religious rituals just after they won an election or gt out of a froud case :P

its but normal , to do these kind of stuff... nt only for celebreties bt any one, for me and for u .

the reason y 'm stressing on the topic is that , God when he gives us success, we thank him, we thank him a lot ... while when we r in misery, there are hardly evidences of the same!

God gives us success nd failure, we gt take both the same ... dont we, else isnt it not disrespecting the judgement of almighty ?

the saying "success nd failure are the 2 faces of the same coin" shoudnt just be kept in the book, they shud be adopted in life and cherished...

my point is, wheather dhoni scores a century, or dravid scores a duck, they both shud take it in the same manner, learn frm it and get along their buisness..

the motive shud be jus work and not wat u get out of it!

but easier said than done

Happy Bday Appa!! :)

Today, my father's 50th bday!! have taken a day off frm d proj work ...
tot i shid do something spl to gift my appa, who has been my back bone for who i'm and certainly wat i wud be..

i was kind of saturated wit chak stuff for time being, more so wanted to revert back to paper art!
so tot of doing an origamy

but wait, wats d NEW part of it?

wats different frm d previous stuff?

orgamy workswhich i'm used to is with accurate measurements, geometry n trignometry stuff, and more over needs a lot of glue to stick .

hw abt doing a model, as good as the others but , with no scale or glue!

tat wud be a good challege , i felt .. and a nice way to gift me appa. :)

so , now i'd to choose a poly hedron to start , i choose Do Deca Hedron , i somehow 'm attached to this model ya! its simple yet dignified and complex in its own way!

i cut a lot of eqilateral triangles in a reasonably thin sheet(compared to card board)
and made a basic unit for construction(with a pair of triangle : 1 folded over other) which wud look like a projections of the 3 medians of the triangles with a socket for putting another such piece .

so now , its just matter of getting the triangles done and then making them into the basic piece and assembling them into the model one after other keeping in mind the geometry of model....

finally this is how it looks :)

its more simple than it seems ...... unlike few other models :D
Basically , Eqilateral Triangles are the basic building blocks of the model.
But takes a lot of patient effort to do this, and ofcourse..... LOVE

PS : i used no glue, no pencil, no instruments except scissors for it...

this is not the first time 'm trying it, but yea, its fun to do such things... :)
